A trip to the past

Wohoooo! It was October 5th and our class went to the Neanderthal Musem in Mettmann.

I went to school by bus. I waited in the building with the other girls, because it was very cold. Then the coach came. Vivian was late, but she was lucky, because the coach was late, too. J

I sat next to Vivian, Miss Late, of course. The coach trip was a little bit boring, but I took a lot of ugly selfies with Vivian. Then we arrived in Mettmann. We looked at the museum and then … - we went the other way!?

Yes, we went to the workshop first. We made some cool lucky charms. After that we had a lunch break.

Finally we went to the museum. We got strange earphones to listen to the guide and went in. But wait … Our bags! We had to leave our bags in an underground locker. Then we went in ;)

We watched a video about the Neanderthal. We saw lots of bones and Neanderthal men (I think they are called ‘homo sapiens Neanderthalensis’ or something like that). We saw a stone tool and more stones.

At the end we went to the shop. Some of us were too loud and we had to leave it. So we went in front of the museum to wait for the coach. The coach came and we got on.

The trip home took a long time … What was that? Suddenly the museum was there again! The coach took the wrong way and we arrived home late, later than we had planned. But it was a great trip J
